Our Indoor Range

The Range in McKinney is a 25,000 square foot shooting sport facility with 18 climate-controlled and lead-filtered shooting lanes (two bays of 9 lanes at 25 yards), classrooms with NRA-certified instructors teaching a complete curriculum of training courses, and private lessons.

Thom and Julie have selected the best equipment manufacturers in the business. Inveris Training Systems is the industry leader in shooting range innovation and is chosen by law enforcement and militaries around the world. The Inveris SafeZone range stalls are rifle and pistol rated, and the rubber trap is rated up to a 50 BFG. No shotgun shells, tracers or incendiary rounds allowed. The Inveris XWT GEN4 target retrieval system is the industry’s first wireless 360º turning target retrieval system. This target system is easily programmable for skill set development from basic qualifications to more advanced reactive and decision-making shooting exercises.

Our range air is never recirculated. The system only introduces clean, fresh, outdoor air.

RENTALS

The Range in McKinney gun rental program is designed to allow you to experience a wide variety of firearms. The gun rental fee is per firearm and does not include ammunition. Rental firearms must be used with ammo purchased from The Range in McKinney. Ammunition costs vary per caliber, and only ammunition purchased from The Range in McKinney may be used in our rental guns. Changing calibers of rental guns will require the purchase of additional ammo.

You are NOT allowed to use personal ammo in The Range in McKinney rental firearms. If personal ammo is used and damages The Range in McKinney rental or equipment, you are responsible for the repair and/or replacement of that firearm and/or equipment and will be banned from renting guns at The Range in McKinney.

Important Range etiquette

All weapons must be holstered or stored in a bag while in The Range. You may NOT unholster your firearm or take it out of your bag until you are safely in the live fire range.
Range safety officer commands will be immediately obeyed.

Open Tuesday - Saturday 10 - 8 Sunday 12 - 6 "Last Mag" is called 10 minutes before closing time.
If you have never shot a firearm before, please let us know so we may assist you.
Children must be a minimum of 8 years old and supervised at all times by a parent/legal guardian who has signed a waiver for the minor child. The Range in McKinney personnel reserves the right to determine if the child is capable of safely shooting.
